sucks dont it?
there are enough visitors tho, but no-1 registers, what do we do wrong?

:p
I know what this forum needs to get going, but am not able to provide it unfortunately.
This forum has run into the biggest pittrap there is for new forums launching out. You need loads of activity quickly. Activity makes people coming to the site end up registering to participate in ongoing discussions and arguements or share knowledge about a subject, whatever. If you come here and see a discussion about, what, lets say the best way to roll a joint and you think everybody else is wrong and want to share your way of doing it, chances are you won't bother if the last reply was from 3 months or more ago.
Also, even if it was a new topic, then if it takes more than 1 day for someone to reply and take the newcomer into a discussion about it or feedback, he is likely to forget to come back beyond the 24 hours after registering and reply further, becoming a 1 hit wonder.
Highseeds did a smart move by giving away free points to people for posting and stuff in the beginning, a shame it was not enough; Maybe a new promotion or hireing a professional group to do it would work (yes, there are people living of doing debates on newstarted forums where they HAVE to engage and maintain discussions with newcomers)
